DIXIE's so petite, she almost looks like a kitten. She loves to give kitty kisses. Dixie was found starving on the streets of the Bronx. She was alone, emaciated and afraid. Fortunately, a colony caretaker noticed this scared little girl and suspected she might be friendly, so she decided to foster her for evaluation. As you might have guessed, she was right. Dixie's a sweetheart. She's very friendly and loves playing with her toy mice and wand toys. When Dixie met 2 of the resident foster kittens, she didn't hesitate to approach them. They were a little less excited to meet her, but she didn't seem phased by their hesitation. She just followed them around to see where they were going. It was quite amusing to watch. Dixie greets people the same way. She's a lap cat who loves attention and chin rubs. She loves looking out the window and meowing to passersby. We don't know how this sweet girl wound up on the street, but we promised she'd never be lonely or hungry again. And that's a promise we intend to keep. Dixie's spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She needs a forever home with someone who will love and keep her safe. We're sure she'll repay her new family with unconditional love, hugs, purrs and kitty kisses.
